Military Products, Inc. , a manufacturer of tactical nylon, field gear and shooting sports accessories, is actively seeking a qualified salesperson who has experience in, and a passion for, the tactical/shooting sports/hunting industry. Strong desire to work with independent dealers, military and government accounts. Analyze and understand the business and category profile of assigned accounts in order to establish successful sales strategies. This position will also work with and support our nationwide network of independent sales representatives.

Primary Duties and responsibilities:
Ability to make outbound calls to existing customers and clearly communicate product features and benefits, sales and pricing programs, company information and generate sales. Analyze and understand current customer assortments and identify growth opportunities based on market profile and key product categories. Research and identify new potential customers for MPI. Identify and contact key decision makers of the business and professionally present MPI brands. Develop and maintain professional relationships with all accounts and independent sales representatives. Accurately define and communicate special buy opportunities to the Director of Sales. Professionally address customer issues/concerns and follow through to ensure total customer satisfaction. Communicate order status updates and follow through to completion. Receive and enter customer orders accurately. Verify accuracy of pricing, terms and shipping methods. Ability to travel to accounts and trade shows as needed. Less than 20% travel is expected.
Min. 5 years internal or external sales or equivalent experience. Tactical/shooting sports product experience preferred. Experience working with Military accounts and/or government resellers preferred. Highly organized with the ability to engage multiple projects. Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Excellent Excel skills preferred. Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and professionally communicate with all team members and senior management. Comfortable engaging customers via phone, email and in person as required.
