SIG SAUER is currently looking to fill the role of Web Content Editor. Part of the SIG SAUER digital team, the Web Content Editor is a critical member of the digital-centric brand-building efforts. The Web Content Editor will champion digital asset management, contribute to business-building ideas and initiatives, and be the primary point of contact for product content across the digital channels.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work with all business units and internal stakeholders to maintain regular content updates to internal and external web properties including sigsauer.com and the company intranet.
•Monitor and maintain complete lifecycle of product content on sigsauer.com; manage all content changes (add, edit, or remove products, press releases, blogs, stories as needed); design and manage all photo and video assets and related content using WordPress, Magneto, Photoshop, and other content applications.
•Be responsible for data integrity of all sellable and non-sellable items as well as maintenance of dealer contact information via the dealer locator.
•QA all content for all devices (mobile and desktop) and adjust where needed.
•Regularly report on site analytics for sellable as well as non-sellable content.
•Work collaboratively with in-house e-commerce staff to maintain promotional calendar, content flow on the online store and throughout sigsauer.com and social media channels.
•BS Marketing, Business or Communications a plus.
•2-3 years related experience.
•Basic understanding of HTML required, intermediate experience preferred.
•Working knowledge of content management platforms and their mechanics including WordPress and Magento; Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop.
•Working knowledge of Excel and data management systems.
