Job Summary: Reporting to the Sales Directors, the Sales Administrator role is focused on growing the revenue and market-share of Texas Armament & Technology via qualifying, developing and closing sales opportunities and providing direct sales administration support across multiple sales channels.
We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Administrator that thrives in a quick-changing sales environment and is comfortable wearing many hats. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable working the phones for sales and billing questions, working with channel partners, working across multiple channel partner systems/platforms and working down “in the weeds” to make sure everything is working across all of our sales channels. MUST have extensive EDI and billing experience.
Detailed duties and responsibilities:
Distributor Channel 1. Monitor and report on distributor inventory levels to improve sales in and turns. 2. Ensure all paperwork is in order throughout the sales process (packing slip, bill of lading, invoices, etc.) 3. Ensure partners have all the latest images and product information available and updated on their websites. 4. Work with distributor sales people to keep TxAT/Aguila top-of-mind to improve turns. 5. Attend shows and events throughout the year to sell products.
Big Box Retail Channel 1. Monitor and report inventory at retail customers to improve sales in and turns. 2. Working with Logistics and Finance, monitor and maintain EDI process from PO submission to invoicing. 3. Ensure partners have all the latest images and product information available and updated on their websites. 4. Maintain UPC process.
Other duties as assigned.
Required and desired skills: The company is willing to provide training for the right candidate. However, ideally, the candidate would meet the following criteria: 1. Proven inside sales experience. 2. Track record of over-achieving quota. 3. Strong phone presence. 4. Expert in EDI processes. 5. Demonstrated attention to detail. 6. Comfortable working across multiple customer IT platforms. 7. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools. 8. Experience working with CRM. 9. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 10. Strong listening, presentation and negotiation skills. 11. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 12. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred. 13. A track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives.
