Fast-paced marketing department is in need of a senior marketing specialist to help keep the machine moving forward! The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades type of person who is used to managing multiple projects, but has a keen sense of attention to detail.
This position supports the marketing team in creation of digital and print marketing campaigns, building and maintaining a social presence with customers, project management, providing reports and analysis, and developing strong relationships with influencers, vendors and the media. In addition, this position will help identify and implement opportunities to market and brand us as the number one choice for airguns and airsoft guns, products, accessories and information.
The ideal candidate will put their marketing experience and content creation skills to good use. You will work on a variety of projects including writing eblasts, assisting with creation of collateral materials, developing marketing timelines, contributing creative ideas, and working with graphic designers and photographers to create promotional materials on various projects. You will have a strong creative output and can manage projects to completion.
Implements online marketing campaigns including email broadcast campaigns, online promotion and 3rd party advertising. Ensures accuracy, quality and adherence to best practices. Supervises the production and delivery of printed marketing materials, including: catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, direct mail and 3rd party print advertising; SEO recommendation implementation Assists with 3rd party website integrations including site search engine, multivariate testing, and social marketing campaign platforms; Connects with influential media outlets and industry contact to develop partnerships and opportunities for product and brand promotion; Builds and manages the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant Monitors YouTube account, provides tracking URLs, posts videos, and monitors responses; Executes a wide variety of tasks and provides assistance for trade shows, events and public relations efforts; Finds and approves opportunities for the affiliate program (through Commission Junction); Reviews and processes donation and sponsorship requests; Consistently reviews processes to enhance productivity and to identify efficiencies.
Research and Analysis Monitors and reports on all analytics; Google Analytics, Listrak ESP, Hawk search platform; blog traffic, Youtube analytics, 3rd party advertising Tracks digital and offline campaigns, prepares performance analyses, and reports to the marketing team, assessing the success vs. failure of programs Provide meaningful insight of collected marketing KPIs and recommends direction moving forward to further marketing efforts Research 3rd party opportunities, including publications, 3rd party sites, and industry influencers to further promote the brand
Education: A BA degree in marketing or business or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3-5 years marketing experience, with heavy emphasis on digital / email marketing Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Exceptional multi-tasking capabilities; able to change directions; manage a number of important projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail a must! Able to be both data-driven and creative Strong problem solving and proofreading skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to build positive relationships with the team as well as external partners Ability to collaborate with marketing, product management and purchasing to support brand and sales goals Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, technical and operational partners to build the company’s brand and furthering interest and participation in shooting sports Knowledge of Photoshop, basic HTML and Listrak ESP desirable Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred.
