Writes training program, including outline, text, handouts, and tests and designs laboratory exercises.
Establishes curriculum, course objectives, and the look and feel of training courses.
Establishes training policies, business plans, advertising campaigns, new courses, modifications to current courses.
Manages day-to-day operations of the training department.
Provides logistical support to instructors conducting courses.
Provides customer service to potential, current, and past customers.
Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training program. Attends in-service training.
Attends trade shows as needed.
Accompanies instructors to Barrett training courses as needed.
May be required to attend sales and/or marketing events, and may have to perform product demonstrations.
May be required to consult product development, engineering, research and development, or marketing departments, and may have to supply product evaluation information as a result of lessons learned from training courses.
May be required to perform internal product testing and report findings and provide recommendations.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.
• Must have a valid US Passport
• Familiarity with ITAR Regulations necessary.
• Graduate of Pofessional Sniper School preferred.
• Experience in a Long Range Shooting role preferred.
• Operational experience with Barrett Firearms preferred.
• Barrett Certified Armorer.
• A personal interest in firearms and long range shooting preferred.
