We are seeking an experienced shooting sports industry National Account Sales Manager who can effectively develop and support best-in-class customer relations with some of our largest industry partners. The National Account Sales Manager will be responsible for growing, managing, and supporting all national accounts. The position will have a significant focus on expanding sales growth of new and existing national accounts.

Builds and maintains productive relationships with all current as well as future national accounts.
Provides best-in-class account management by developing, implementing and utilizing sales strategies to grow national accounts portfolio.
Introduce new products to all national accounts.
Prepare and track performance against annual national account forecast. Develop strategies to address variance.
Develop robust promotional plans that encourage long-term relationships with national accounts.
Collect and analyze account specific sales data for each national account to identify opportunities, gaps and product trends, and continually update sales team with findings.
Utilize marketing data to increase distribution and/or secure new distribution.
Establish and lead compelling sales presentations with all national accounts utilizing fact-based information resulting in increased sales and distribution.
Deliver on all monthly revenue goals by utilizing necessary sales tools to ensure margins are being met.
Assists customer with envisioning the direction of the market to maximize sales.
Manage accounts inventory and advises adjustments based upon current inventory levels and market conditions.
Works in conjunction with the marketing department to support sales objectives.
Continuously seeks superior product, industry and competitor knowledge.
Shares market information; trends, changing market conditions, competitive activity, and customer initiatives with Sales Director as well as Sr. Leadership Team of Century.
Provides market feedback and competitive research to the Product Development Team.
Continuously seeks new opportunities to endorse, sell and add value to the company.
Travel to conventions, meetings and tradeshows based on business demands.
Reports any concerns raised by national accounts to Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing and actively assists by generating solutions that ensure account loyalty and Century’s reputation is preserved.
Utilizes all sales tracking tools in accordance with Century processes.
Research projects based on business needs.
Assists in the preparation of annual sales & marketing budget.
Participate in training and development of less experienced sales team members.

Four-year Degree or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years commercial sales experience, including 5 years of large national chain account sales within the shooting sports industry is preferred.
Firearms knowledge required

Demonstrated experience of working effectively with a high level of autonomy
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and apply concepts of basic algebra

Excellent written skills: writes clearly and informatively.
Ability to multitask
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must be able to understand and apply complex Government regulations
Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled home office environment within a reasonable distance from a regional airport. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes routine vehicle traffic sounds and normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
