Responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure. Identify, implement and maintain an effective and appropriate technology infrastructure in a changing environment. Provide strategic assessment of technology needs that enhance member experience and engagement.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain effective information technology operations including networks, servers, database operations, CRM, data security, computer hardware, software, data integrations, mobile productivity tools, cloud computing, and telecommunications.
Stay abreast of changing and developing IT trends, privacy regulations and cyber security risks.
Responsible for capturing and communicating appropriate metrics that drive continuous improvement initiatives, estimate technology needs of the company, and developing the technical skills of IT staff members.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, cost effectiveness with focus on security and 24/7 reliability of systems and infrastructure.
Lead IT staff to set project timelines, milestones, and deliverables and delegate tasks to team members.
Identify strategies and digital tools that create efficiencies and champions effective adoption of these tools.
Convene staff and vendor team for projects that require IT systems expertise, such as integrations, upgrades, and implementations.
Maintain a good understanding of Foundation business across all departments.
Ensure remote employees are fully functional and effective with telecommunication and IT resources.
Monitor and continually assess office technology to assure tools are supporting operating efficiency and cross-organization collaboration and communication.
Create and deliver learning opportunities for staff members on software and hardware and new technology.
Develop and manage the budget for all IT and mailroom services.
Make certain all Foundation data is protected from external and internal viruses and threats.
Assist in developing, communicating and administering the organization’s computer, and telecommunications policies.
Identify the needs of the Foundation’s IT services on an ongoing basis, remain current with technology advances, and make recommendations for developing strategies to improve IT capabilities.
Direct and manage mailroom operations.
Assist with Foundation’s facility security including access, alarm, and video security system.
Manage ancillary technology related aspects of operations including but not limited to telephone and voice mail system, remote access systems, server room generator and backup systems.
Actively participant in emergency response planning and procedures and strategic planning.
Special projects as needed and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
8+ years experience in an Information Technology leadership position.
12+ years of total IT experience including computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation & architecture, security/compliance, and budgetary responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on working knowledge and experience with CRM systems and databases.
Experience with Salesforce.
Understanding query languages – SQL and SOQL (Oracle)
Extensive knowledge and experience with networks, cloud services, SaaS, PaaS, AMS, integrations, and cyber security.
Experience with integrations and integration tools such as Workato, APIs, and Heroku.
Well-versed in networking (Routers, switches, etc.) and desktop/server hardware, internet connectivity.
Solid internet security background including email security.
Demonstrated success leading technology implementation projects from budgeting, planning to execution, including discovery, RFP management, vendor search, relationship management, and end-user support.
Experience in building consensus and alliances across diverse stakeholders and key opinion leaders.
Good understanding of general mechanics, electronics and security systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and conflict management skills at all levels of the organization.
Ability to evaluate and implement reasonable and highly effective IT solutions. Ability to be both conceptual and big picture thinker.
On-going understanding of current IT solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel.
