Executes Weatherby sales strategies and business plans for the Dealer and Mass Merchant sales channels. Leads the development of the business relationships, identification of sales opportunities, and management of customer relationships in the current markets. Current position is highly focused on the Dealer and Mass Merchant markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve market share and business plan sales targets for all dealer and mass merchant channels.
Collaborates with the planning and execution of all business development activities within assigned sales channels
Oversees the development of specific account plans, forecasts and revenue goals
Oversees sales activity focused on key accounts
Develops and creates training materials for Dealer sale teams. Assists representatives in the planning of this training
Partners with Marketing to develop marketing, pricing, product management and advertising strategies.
Has input to the coordination of allocations and order activity to ensure timely deliveries and customer service levels
Partners with Customer Service to ensure that sales support and administration of programs produce efficient operations and maintain customer goodwill.
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings concerning sales performance and pipeline management.
Provides feedback from the field.
Current and new products.
Competitive information regarding products, pricing, programs and promotion.
Dealer performance assessment and goal setting/plans.
Sets goals and tracks performance related to sales and training plans.

Education & Experience
Significant distribution sales experience.
Vast Gun experience with in-depth knowledge of the shooting sports business.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft products, Google Suite, CRM.
Strong leadership, communication, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong customer focus with excellent negotiation and public relations skills.
Ability to work in a high paced environment
Requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
Represents Weatherby with integrity in all environments.
Meet objective goals assigned by Director of Sales and Customer Service during performance coaching.
