Prospect sales and market share growth opportunities within existing dealers
Develop equity/support from retail sales personnel, make them Walther brand ambassadors
Be an expert in the Walther product line
Provide factory training to retail staff
Achieve placement, goals and quotas for dealer accounts
Update and maintain CRM database including profiles on each A-B-C dealer
Work with National Sales Manager, Channel Managers, and National Account Managers to follow up with reps and new accounts
Travel with independent reps and meet with dealers to assist in selling and promotional opportunities
Gather, compile and summarize field driven market research
Attend trade shows and provide sales support
Supports sales team with travel and in-store weekend promotional help
Maintain strong working knowledge on Walther products in order to assist/train retailers and reps
Work with quality department and service department to communicate issues or concerns from the retailers
Provide feedback to marketing team for signage, POP, branding, marketing materials, and new product ideas
Telemarketing sales and promotions via dealer database
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or work experience equivalent
Must be located in the Northwest geographical area
Three years of successful sales account management experience preferred
Firearm retail experience preferred
Strong firearms knowledge/experience is required
Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must become proficient in the entire Walther Arms product line
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software platforms as needed
Must be proficient in the use of mobile technology
Ability to excel in a team environment required
Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research
Frequent travel required (50%+)
Telecommuting is allowed.
