Responsible for processing all customer sales orders. Responsible for delivering information and resolving issues in an accurate and timely manner, while supporting good relationships with both internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter customer orders into supply chain software (Oracle) and maintain orders from point of creation to arrival at the customer location
Insure accuracy of the information provided by the sales team
Communicate with the Sales Team to ensure orders are processed by meeting critical time lines
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services offered
Communicate wish dates to Production and Logistics Department
Inform Customer Service or Sales of changes to order expectations
Follow the EDI process from receipt of purchase orders to sending shipping notices
Communicate with A/R to generate invoices and assist in the collection process when needed
Investigate and respond to interdepartmental inquiries
Backlog management: drive hold releases, ensure delivery commitments are met, and communicate order status
Assist General Manager with daily functions
Assist management team from time to time on special projects
Maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping.
Meet department’s key objectives.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned consistent with the non-exempt functions.
Associates Degree or High School Diploma
Three (3) or more years of experience of customer service, order process, A/R, collections and/or general sales office coordination (Outdoors environment preferred).
Any appropriate combination of academic and work experience.
Heavy customer care background and order processing knowledge
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
