We are Primary Arms, and we’re looking for a Creative Manager to assist us in our marketing efforts. This role is based on-site in our Corporate Headquarters in Houston, TX.

Director of Marketing
Manage, supervise and provide leadership to the staff who handle graphics and website design functions, including project assignments, personnel management, evaluations and personnel time records.
Ensure projects handled by the Creative Services team are completed within established timelines and budgets.
Manage project budgets.
Provide final review and approval of external materials for accuracy.
Oversee the creative process of simultaneously occurring projects from concept to completion.
Ensure a quality, consistent branding approach across the range of Creative Services deliverables.
Lead brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for projects.
Collaborate with internal clients to translate project objectives into clear creative strategies and ensure deliverables meet and exceed project expectations.
Work with engineers, project communications specialists and other internal and external contacts to develop graphics to simplify complicated processes related to flood risk reduction projects.
Refine and implement a photography and videography archival process; oversee photography and videography resources.
Provide strategic counsel to and conduct briefings with Communications Division Director on an ongoing basis to share feedback, updates, issues, challenges, and results.
Perform other duties that may be added or changed as the course and scope of the position directs.
Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in graphic design, multimedia design or related fields.
Requires ten years of progressively responsible, verifiable professional experience in communications, graphics and multimedia design or similar field.
Proficiency in the production of a variety of print and digital media materials.
Experience in project management, organizational and communication skills.
Experience managing teams and individuals to maximize performance.
Excellent creative skills and ability to simultaneously manage complex, high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment.
Expert knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite graphics software including Adobe Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop.
Working knowledge of the firearms industry
Communicate important organizational and project updates to direct reports, peers and managers clearly and proactively through superior written, oral and presentation skills and constructively edit others' work.
Work well under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must work well under changing and multiple deadlines.
Manage and organize projects and initiatives with strong attention to detail and excellent work product.
Work independently with limited supervision, relative autonomy and general review.
Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and a wide range of external parties.
Make independent judgments that could have significant impact on employees and/or the organization.
Manage and lead a team within an office environment.
