GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: not to be construed as all inclusive)
Meet/exceed monthly Winchester Ammunition & Browning Ammunition sales volume targets for assigned territory.
Build a territory sales development plan that ensures key customers are contacted on a regular basis.
Develop account sales and marketing strategies for Buying Group Dealers / Full Line Dealers.
Implement approved sales programs for assigned territory & meet goals for assigned territory.
Identify product gaps in key customers within territory and expand product placement.
Implement and execute the marketing support program for assigned territory.
Successfully execute quarterly dealer, range promotions for assigned territory.
Plan and execute quarterly Winchester Ammunition & Browning Ammunition promotional events with the key customers for assigned territory.
Monitor and report on competitive activity.
Conduct product demonstrations as necessary.
Investigate and work with consumer services to resolve customer issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field required.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales, marketing or customer service role with a branded consumer products leader, preferably in the sporting goods product category.
Must reside in territory (Orlando Metro area preferred).Travel required (approximately 75%).
Able to sit in a vehicle or and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2-year time span.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer orientation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
High performance team experience and the desire to be a strong team player.
Must have strong command of the English language, both verbal and written communications.
Exceptional skills in MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
SAP software experience preferred.
Firearms and Ammunition proficiency preferred.
