The Creative Services Manager is a key marketing staff member responsible for creating and managing all graphic design elements for Kimber. The Creative Services manager will proactively work on projects related to customer and dealer facing graphics including print advertisements, print marketing, sales collateral, PowerPoint template design, website graphics, digital advertisements, social media graphics, and product and lifestyle photography. This individual will possess a strong typography skill set and familiarity with serial design (multi-page) projects, will possess excellent time management skills, and have the ability to adhere to and enforce corporate brand guidelines in order to maintain consistency across all internal and external mediums. This individual will also have strong photography and video production and editing skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage creation of print and digital product catalog, including managing internal and external product and lifestyle photoshoots, catalog design and final layout
Maintain and grow image asset library through the use of contracted and internal photography
Create and edit product videos using in-house studio and equipment
Develop effective consumer and dealer e-blasts using Sales Force Marketing Cloud
Create website and social media graphics for select holidays and promotions
Create designs for sales collateral, POP materials, print advertisements, digital advertisements, promotions, and social media content
Work closely with the advertising agency to collaborate on projects
Coordinate efforts with existing functional departments to ensure the success of new products and the overall strategic product plan
Understand the target consumer, identify trends, exploit opportunities, and benchmark competitive markeinting to keep Kimber’s brand image appealing and aspirational
Develop product positioning and feature/benefit messaging and ensure effective delivery of messages through marketing and sales
Understand how to market premium products and how to communicate a premium brand message

Possess at least 5-10 years of successful agency or in-house graphic design experience
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage various programs simultaneously
Ability to work within and understand Print Industry Standard guidelines
Must be a creative thinker with the ability to develop, test and execute new ideas
Ability to develop and follow corporate brand guidelines
Understanding of digital photography and retouching
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Knowledge of outdoor sports industries and firearms; quality, features, safety, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Cross functional team builder/player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
Need to be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Experience working independently with little supervision
Must be comfortable around firearms in the office and at the range for live-fire
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quality performance reports and create solutions. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

This position will require travel occasionally for tradeshows and photoshoots.

Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
