An experienced marketing professional with proven success in e-commerce and website management. The right person will need to work effectively within a relatively small marketing department, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be fiercely competitive to help us to successfully deliver results.
Responsibility for the strategy, management, and execution of eCommerce and website initiatives that drive growth in traffic and eCommerce sales with financial plan accountability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; direction, oversight, and implementation of efficient ecommerce platform utilization, paid digital advertising, and email marketing for associated websites. Works with marketing professionals while maintaining brand reputations. Analyzes and reports on e-commerce metrics and related digital assets and utilizes data to drive strategy and key performance indicators.
Achieve e-commerce financial performance goals.
Work with Marketing Director to develop strategies, plans, and tactics that drive qualified traffic to our websites and ultimately converts traffic to sales.
Coordinate with Web Programmer to implement strategies.
Manage product related data and assets in conjunction with marketing team.
Administration of webstore product listings including content, digital assets, and SEO.
Direct and manage all aspects of user experience and search engine optimization for websites.
Monitor and implement changes to websites based on analytics and data.
Analyze metrics and generate reports on digital assets and initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
College degree in Computer Science preferred or combination of college and three (3) years of experience in actively administrating websites and an e-commerce platform.
Two (2) years of experience in an office setting.
Experience with PHP and ASP.NET is a plus.
Experienced understanding of online consumer behavior and traffic generating techniques.
Efficient use of MS Office and at minimum an intermediate user of Excel.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website errors.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive online and in-person relationships.
Experience in communicating effectively with a team of marketing and sales individuals.
Solid and efficient knowledge of website analytic tools.
Experience in setting up and optimizing paid ad word campaigns and negotiating digital advertising buys and/or working with a third party for such services is a plus.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, e-commerce, and website analytic technologies.
Knowledge of best search engine optimization practices and algorithms.
Ability to function and manage time, tasks, and projects in non-standard situations where independent judgment is required, and limited guidelines exist.
