EasyExport™ is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing.
This work-from-home position offers the right individual a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create, grow, and manage the worldwide sales and marketing program for an ambitious young company with a game-changing new service.
EasyExport is a unique automated export processing system that enables online sellers of firearms, parts, optics and accessories in the U.S. to ship safely and lawfully to customers in 82 countries. With EasyExport, online merchants who have been barred by regulatory complexity from selling to international customers can finally tap into the global ecommerce boom and add 20% or more to their top-line revenues. Culminating two and a half years of software development, the first three merchants will begin using EasyExport to process exports in July 2021.
The Director of Sales and Marketing will work with the Company’s CEO and marketing agencies and will be supported by a substantial sales and marketing budget. This individual will join a team of a dozen highly committed software engineers and experts in international commerce in firearms and related products.
The primary responsibilities of the Director of Sales and Marketing will include the following:
Act as the primary day-to-day contact between the Company and its marketing agencies.
Provide meaningful creative input into sales and marketing decision-making.
Collaborate with the CEO and marketing agencies in developing and implementing the Company’s domestic and international digital marketing program and campaigns.
Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations to the CEO and senior management with respect to sales and marketing activities.
Manage the Company’s social media activity.
Create content to support the Company’s marketing, email and social media campaigns.
Create website content for the Company’s domestic and international websites.
Manage the Company’s translation projects with the Company’s translation services provider.
Prepare professional-quality sales and other presentations.
Coordinate webinars, sales presentations, customer training and similar activities.
Stay abreast of developments in technologies relevant to the marketing and sales.
Coordinate and arrange travel relating to sales and marketing activities.
Coordinate arrangements for participation by the Company at SHOT, IWA and other trade shows.
Serve as the Company’s primary media and public relations contact.
Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as requested by the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong work ethic.
5 years of marketing experience, all or mostly in the firearm and related outdoor products industry.
Desire and ability to shape and lead the Company’s sales and marketing strategy and tactics.
Extensive familiarity with inbound marketing methodologies.
Experience with social media marketing and advertising.
Experience with the development of marketing and advertising budgets.
High degree of skill and creativity in devising digital campaigns and content.
Experience successfully introducing new products or services.
Experience marketing business-to-business products or services.
Fluency in at least one non-English language.
Deep understanding of digital analytics with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
Familiarity with HubSpot or other email and marketing automation systems/tools.
Experience with search engine optimization and analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proven ability to collaborate constructively across an organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
