Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and oversight of an integrated and comprehensive marketing program supportive of the GLOCK mission while ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and branding guidelines. This includes, but not limited to, the development of marketing initiatives, overseeing the company’s social media strategy, and supporting sales and GLOCK affiliates.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance GLOCK’s image and position within the Firearms industry and the general public.
Responsible for effectively planning, developing and executing GLOCK’s ecommerce strategy to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers.
Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunities beyond current brand offering.
Facilitate marketing communications and public relations activities and materials, including media relations.
Ensure consistent articulation of GLOCK’s brand throughout the company and externally.
Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all GLOCK publications, including print and electronic materials such as logo use, brochures and company letterhead.
Ensure due diligence is practiced on a regular basis by conducting relevant market research and monitoring trends.
Prepare, monitor and adhere to annual budget.
Responsible for the preparation and coordination of National & Regional meetings and shows, including SHOT Show.
Oversee photo and video shoots; work with agency photographers, models and movie companies.
Oversee web development, social media and monitoring of the content and message through updates and content change.
Effectively lead, manage, motivate and provide guidance, feedback and development opportunities to Marketing employees.
Responsible for hiring, evaluations, and terminations, as applicable.
Stay up-to-date on general marketing trends and developments.
Travel overnight and to work occasional weekends.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics AX
General office skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may require some work outside of these hours.
