Position Summary:
This position’s main goal is to provide support to our recruitment team. You will be responsible for assisting with clerical duties as well as acting as a junior recruiter and sourcing assistant. You will be responsible for using various methods to source, evaluate and submit candidates to our recruiters. You will be a key role in making sure our hiring process stays running smoothly.

Compensation:
$15-20 per hour. Pay based on experience. This job is a 1099 position and contracted.
Recruiting and Sourcing Assistant Job Functions:
• Assists with all job functions in aiding to our Executive recruiters.
• Scheduling calls, following up on interviews and handling confidential documents.
• Coordinate recruiting activities.
• Undertake clerical duties (e.g. answering emails and drafting offer letters).
• Prepare and post job ads online.
• Help with resume screening and initial phone screens.
• Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
• Answer questions submitted on social media platforms about recruiting opportunities and directs to correct department when required.
• Aides in the coordination of travel and expenses for candidates.
• Maintain candidate/client database.
• Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g. interview cancellations).
• Assist with recruitment onboarding (e.g. preparing documents, coordinating orientation agendas).
• Use social media networks to look for and communicate with potential candidates.
• Research and identify individuals for qualifications.
• Composition and distribution of business emails and outreach.
• Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates.
• Search on traditional and non-traditional sources such as job boards, lists, search engines, social media, etc.
• Conduct initial phone screens with candidates.
• Coordinate interviews and act as liaison with the recruiting team.
• Other duties/special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Desired:
• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with Social Networks, business professional sites, and databases.
• Experience in the Recruiting Industry would be helpful but not required.
