Owen J. Brown & Associates, a premier sales agency representing top firearms and shooting sports suppliers in the western 13 states, is looking for an outside sales representative to call on and service accounts in the territory of Utah and Southern Idaho.
Responsibilities include:
Visiting agency customers and prospects (primarily firearms and outdoor specialty retailers) to promote products and programs for the manufacturers we represent. Communicating with customers and prospects between visits to follow up on open items and identify and/or present new opportunities. Communicating regularly with agency managers to review opportunities, priorities, plans and goals. Attending annual vendor sales meetings and industry trade shows. Supporting dealer and consumer events (such as in-store promotions, shooting events, outdoor expos, etc).
Preferred Skills & Experiences:
- Must have outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
- Live in a convenient location within the sales region described above
- Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter!
- Outdoor/firearms enthusiast
- Well-organized
- Outside sales and/or retail sales experience
- Advanced computer, internet and electronic communication skills are important
