Black Wing Shooting Center, Ohio’s Premier Shooting Destination, is seeking a Full-Time Gunsmith to add to our current staff of 1 full time / 1 part time gunsmiths and become part of our team! 

We are a NSSF 5-star rated indoor/outdoor range, with a sizeable retail store and gunsmithing shop. This position includes some customer interaction, however gunsmithing drop offs and pick-ups are handled by our retail staff. The qualified candidate will be working alongside both gunsmiths – one who is a Colorado School of Trades gunsmithing school graduate and has been our lead gunsmith for over 7 years, the other is a Vietnam vet who has been working on firearms for most of his adult life.

Our gunsmithing work spans from cleanings and general repair to Cerakote, stock cutting, parts fitting and other more advanced jobs. We also have a healthy business of class 3 related work including HK auto pack work (tuning for different host guns) to diagnostic/part fitting for broken pieces.

• Must have graduated from an in-house gunsmithing school or have demonstratable gunsmithing knowledge and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to handle firearms.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude to ensure optimal customer service.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player.
• Ability to remain standing and/or sitting for long periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, bend and lift up to 75lbs
