The ideal candidate will have territory sales experience and a good understanding of two-step distribution as well as direct-to-dealer sales. Travel will be approximately 50% to 60% covering a multi-state territory. Firearms sales experience is preferred but not required if the candidate is coming from a territory management position and knows firearms and the shooting sports.
Eligible candidates must have a working knowledge of firearms, and the shooting sports along with a minimum of 2 years of territory sales experience. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and creativity. Must be highly motivated, assertive, and have the ability to work independently. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including the use of internet/email. Frequent travel is required.
Responsibilities as a Territory Sales Manager include servicing all levels of trade within the defined territory including independent sporting goods retailers and distributors. In this role you will be responsible for territory sales growth, communicating market trends and sales analysis to the National Sales Manager, and retail support including training and promotional events.
