The objective of the territory manager is to manage all sales activities within assigned territory by performing the following duties:
Drive SDS Imports sales through customer interactions to provide and process information on orders, products and services.
Order processing.
Ensure order accuracy.
Completion of sales reports.
Sales data analysis.
Pursue and develop new customer accounts.
Maintain customer contact information.
Provides customers with order data and general information.
Provides assortment and plans for merchandising in the retail space.
Be the SDS Imports subject matter expert within the territory.
Visit existing customer base in person.
Communicate regularly with SDS management on account performance, order status and planning.
Communicate with SDS management to review opportunities, priorities, plans and goals.
Attend annual sales meeting and industry trade shows.
Support dealer and consumer events (such as in-store promotions, shooting events, outdoor expos. Etc.)
Live in convenient location within the sales region, (1) Florida, (1) to cover a territory consisting of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, SC, NC and Tennessee.
Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter.
Firearms enthusiast.
Proven Sales experience.
Flexibility, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Ability to demonstrate strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Above average verbal and written communications.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office and ERP systems.
Must be able to work remotely via home office.
Ability to travel within assigned territory. Travel expectation 50%.
Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter.
