The Opportunity. We are looking for a sales professional with strong firearms industry relationships, knowledge and insight that can help us drive sales through the OEM and Wholesale channels. As our company grows, so is our sales team including the expansion to open a new east coast branch in Tampa, Florida. This position is a new position and we are flexible for the right candidate to relocate to Florida, Washington or even work remote. This position reports directly to our VP of Sales and requires up to 75% travel including trade shows and customer visits.
The Job.
· Develop sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
· Work with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
· Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals.
· Develop sales forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly.
· Develop and maintain active sales pipeline report.
· Attend trade meetings and industry conventions.
· Generate timely sales reports.
· Analyze sales data, market and industry trends to identify sales opportunities.
- Bachelor’s in business or related field preferred.
- 3+ years Firearms Industry sales experience, OEM and wholesale focus.
- Extensive firearms experience and knowledge.
- Well established, positive relations with key firearm industry decision makers, influencers and connections that could lead to increased sales opportunities.
- Ability to connect, persuade and close on sales.
- Experience with sales funnels, pipeline and sales analysis reporting.
- Strong financial understanding and acumen.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the company to ensure smooth execution of products, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with SAP helpful, but not required.
