Baron Engraving is seeking a Custom Shop Manager/Inside Salesperson to handle direct to consumer engraving sales. In this role you will work with customer and our team to capture their vision and help them create a lasting heirloom that will be passed on for generations. The Custom Shop Manager/Inside Salesperson’s responsibilities include participating in trade shows, organizing promotional events, generating new business, developing metrics to gauge and improve customer engagement and satisfaction, and researching competitors' products, services, and pricing, to ensure competitive offerings and market success.
To be successful as our Custom Shop Manager, you should be able to anticipate consumer needs and keep abreast of the latest industry trends and demonstrate exceptional analytical, communication, and time management skills.
Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing sales proposals.
Consultatively sell to customers to determine their engraving needs and satisfy their goals for their custom engraved product.
Develop tools including engraving patterns, photo archives and order forms to facilitate the ordering process and to make it easier for Baron’s team to exceed customer expectations.
Preparing sales forecast reports, plan and monitor progress of individual orders to ensure timely completion.
Develop effective sales strategies to increase company sales.
Collaborate with the marketing design and content marketing teams to produce quality advertising material for company products and services targeting consumers.
Maintaining an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches.
Analyzing market trends, sales and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales.
Understanding of firearms, firearms finishes, engraving techniques and styles.
A critical eye for design and the ability to work with varying creative points of view to best ensure the finished product meets the customer’s vision.

Exceptional Customer Service Skills and Experience.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience working in sales or marketing.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and marketing software.
Sound knowledge of sales and marketing metrics.
The ability to anticipate consumer behavior.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
