The Marketing Content Manager will be responsible for the coordination of a variety of marketing programs, events, initiatives, promotions, and research projects, not limited to the following:

• Manage internal employees or external marketing agencies as required.
• Engage in Marketing activities to attain or exceed company objectives relating to sales.
• Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Spearhead the development and execution of Colts content strategy.
• Maintain and manage the content calendar.
• Content creation experience and management of creative resources such as photography and videography.
• Oversee content creation practices through frequent testing of content formats and distribution channels.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective content strategy.
• Collect and respond to customer service inquiries via social media channels.
• Update web content, working with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative.
• Analyze reports and metrics for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content.
• Organize and maintain asset library for distribution both internal and external.
• Create Colt internal marketing materials.
• Create Colt external marketing materials such as catalogs, spec sheets, and other assets.
• Manage Marketing Department loan & sample accounts.
• Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Build relationships with various organizations to improve Marketing efforts.
• Interact with Sales & Customer Service Departments to ensure all communications reflect the strategic plan for branding the company.
• Represent Colt at corporate events, trade shows, and conferences, as required.
• Identify and make appropriate recommendations for potential improvements within the different Marketing department.
• Keep current with industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications, etc.
• Represent Colt at corporate events, trade shows, and conferences, as required.
• Assist Management in coordinating various marketing projects and other duties where requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

• BA\BS Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in a Marketing function, preferably within the sporting goods industry
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to develop and maintain one brand voice between print, social media, website, and PR efforts via copy, photography, video, etc. with proven creative ability in executing sales and promotional programs and campaigns.
