POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating the Hunt/Shoot Division Sales Team to attain sales goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team. Identify and attract talented sales professionals who align with our company's objectives. Implement comprehensive training programs to equip the team with the necessary skills.
Analyze, understand, and implement positive changes based on industry trends, data and metrics.
Coordinate and facilitate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve sales objectives.
Understand the competitive landscape of commercial sales markets; work with the Executive team to capitalize on the company’s strengths and competitions weakness.
Make outbound phone calls and in-person store visits to existing and new customers with an emphasis on optimizing customer relations and producing new sales.
Prepare, review and approve quote prices, terms and conditions, prepare, review and/or approve sales orders, quotations, estimates, and reports.
Monitor and report on sales metrics. Track and analyze sales data, providing accurate reports to senior management. Use insights to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain demo and sample thermal/night vision equipment assigned to department.
Attend trade shows and other related promotional events.
Maintain and update company-wide training materials as needed.
Update and maintain database of customers’ contact information.
Manage scheduling of company vehicle fleet used by sales representatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hunt/Shoot sales team (10+)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred or an applicable combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience.
Minimum of 3 years in supervising, leading and managing sales team, or customer service towards achieving of sales goals.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license
QUALIFICATIONS
High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
Must have sales/management experience, successful recruiting techniques, proven ability in strategic planning and execution methods, tenured employment(s), and exceptional negotiating skills.
Approximately 30-50% travel required.
Hunting/Shooting/Military background a plus.
Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen
WORK SCHEDULE AND HOURS
Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of normal departmental operating hours.
