VISION The Brand Manager is responsible for the ongoing evolution and performance of existing and potentially new Sellmark brands, including the development and execution of brand and product strategies and marketing plans that drive brand and company growth. The Brand Manager will work with cross-functional peers in design development, marketing, supply chain, sales, finance, and production to lead the execution of marketing initiatives that drive profitable growth of the business. This includes brand planning & strategy, innovation and new product commercialization, marketing planning & execution, creative briefing and review, consumer insights development, and marketing channel management. Skills required include team leadership and management, training and development, project management, relationship building, creative review and feedback, data analytics, and communications. The Brand Manager will also test, analyze, and optimize marketing tactics to drive growth, and efficiency and maximize effectiveness in driving brand awareness and other key brand performance metrics. The Brand Manager will be a collaborative leader in the strategic development and execution of priority initiatives for their brand, serve as a passionate brand advocate, and be a catalyst for the growth and success of Sellmark brands. The position will report directly to the Design and Development Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS - Serves as the brand advocate. Understands the brand’s strengths and opportunities, its consumers, its story, and leads the annual brand planning process - setting the brand strategy & roadmap in collaboration with the marketing and leadership teams.
- Leads marketing planning and launch execution of new products.
- Manages brand’s product lines throughout the lifecycle using research to determine pricing strategies, target market, advertising strategies.
- Collects various types of data, deciphers, and formulate into recommended action items and disseminates information to appropriate departments.
- Effectively drives projects to continually improve creative assets, deliver marketing programs, optimize media selection & measurement, and develop new ideas and opportunities to build brand awareness, regard, and growth.
- Skillfully manages multiple assigned projects with accountability for hitting timelines and budgets, driving execution from planning to commercialization to post-analysis.
- Work with production to identify, develop and foster partnerships, sourcing relationships, and supply agreements with outside companies, consultants, and agencies.
- Identifies needs and executes consumer research and marketplace analysis that help define brand and product opportunities, marketing improvements, and launch strategy.
- Research, identify and rank new opportunities for potential product ideas and product improvements through outcome-driven innovation processes.
- Collaborate and integrate with new product development: brainstorming new concepts/feature, define and document product requirements, test and evaluate prototypes and define product roadmaps for the brand.
- Synthesizes and applies market insights from internal and syndicated data sources, consumers, customers, and competitors to strengthen branding, marketing, and product strategies.
- Works collaboratively with Operations team to optimize operational efficiency & profitability where required.

Hybrid schedule in office two days a week. Must be willing to relocate to the DFW area. Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, and weekends.
