We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives in the firearms industry. This role is essential to driving the company’s growth, brand positioning, and market share. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing leadership within the firearms, outdoor, or tactical industries, with a deep understanding of the market and consumer behavior.
Responsibilities -Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals, including branding, product promotion, digital marketing, and customer engagement.
- Brand Management: Strengthen the company’s brand presence in both consumer and B2B markets, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, analyze trends, and drive marketing initiatives that position the company for continued growth in the firearms industry.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration between marketing, sales, and product development teams.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, YouTube videos, social media, email campaigns, and e-commerce strategies, ensuring optimal online presence and customer acquisition.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with product development to create and execute successful product launches, ensuring proper market positioning and competitive differentiation.
- Customer Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and engagement, leveraging data analytics to measure and optimize marketing efforts.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and a high ROI on all marketing activities.
- Industry Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, media, influencers, and other industry professionals
Location: St. George, Utah or Redmond, Utah.
Requirements
-10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the firearms or outdoor industry.
-Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that have resulted in significant business growth.
-Strong knowledge of the firearms industry including regulatory landscape, consumer -trends, and competitive dynamics.
-Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, You Tube content, e-commerce, and social media strategies.
-Experience in leading a marketing team, with a track record of mentorship and team development.
-Proficiency in data-driven decision-making with the ability to analyze market data, campaign performance, and sales trends to inform strategy.
-Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and build brand narratives.
-Experience managing significant marketing budgets and delivering strong ROI.
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
