Overview

• Title: Digital Marketing Consultant (Entry Level)
• Base Salary: $45,000 - $57,000 (Depending on experience)
• Bonus Structure: Eligible in year two
• Other: Company computer provided and up to $30 / mo phone service expense
• Retirement Program: Eligible per benefits program after 6 months of employment. Orchid LLC will 100% match up to the first 6% of employee contribution.

Job Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for working with other members of the Sales and Marketing team to create online content and to actively engage in online industry conversations.

Digital Marketing

• On-page SEO optimization
• On / off site linking
• Shopper engagement through popups and email capture
• eMail marketing automation

Social Media

• Identifying relevant social media channels
• Managing online social media accounts
• Establishing an online persona that represents the company brand
• Actively engaging in social media conversations relevant to the industry
• Posting graphics / images, news and customer announcements to social media
• Tracking social media engagement metrics

Written and Video Content Responsibilities

• Research and development of written content
• Co-authoring or initial draft of short but engaging blog posts
• Assisting with the development of company newsletters
• Assisting with the creation and sending of marketing campaigns and urgent news blasts
• Create and host webinars and videos

Partner and Affiliate Marketing Responsibilities

• Establishing affiliate marketing relationships
• Engaging in meaningful link share
• Working with partners to develop combined content

Focus of Content

• Firearm Industry - Industry events that include or exclude Orchid participation
• Technology – Retail Point-of-Sale software, eCommerce applications, Payment Processing, Manufacturing ERP Systems, Compliance Software
• Regulatory – Legal and Compliance matters; Changes in Laws and Regulations

Job Qualifications

Experience

• 1 - 3 years of experience
• Firearms / Shooting sports industry experience preferred but not required
• Technology / software industry experience preferred but not required
• Ability to research topic and create meaningful content
• Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing
• Very strong written and creative skills
• Very computer literate and willing to learn
• Very close attention to detail

Technical / Software Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern computing applications (online or on-premise)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
