Position Description
THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXPERIENCE WITH FIREARMS AND SUPPRESSORS. THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION AND REQUIRES TRAVEL
SilencerCo is looking for a new Sales Representative to join our Outside Sales Team. You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer and end-user experience throughout the Mid-West Region. You’ll have the opportunity to build and maintain existing business relationships with the best suppressor dealers in the region, all while working to promote SilencerCo at events with dealers in the Mid-West sales territory and across the country.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about firearms, ready to travel (60-80% travel required), and able to represent our brand in a manner aligned with our culture. This position requires an individual who is capable of managing their time and is self-motivated.
This position reports to the National Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Manage sales responsibilities in an identified area
Grow business
Present brand to new/existing dealers as well as the public
Manage large volumes of incoming calls and emails
Respond promptly to customer/dealer inquiries
Identify and assess the customer's needs to achieve satisfaction
Provide information about products and services
Interpret data sets and use them to build and improve business
Document customer inquiries and action taken
Communicate and coordinate with other sales representatives
Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
Conduct product knowledge training events
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Process orders
Represent SilencerCo at range and dealer events in a positive and professional manner
Ensure safety of customers and coworkers and adhere to strict standards of firearms safety at all times
Results
The successful candidate will:
Meet/Exceed the minimum weekly goal for dealer interactions
Meet/Exceed the minimum monthly goal for company/dealer events
Meet/Exceed the minimum weekly goal related to product training
Be adept at documenting account progress through the use of the SilencerCo CRM
