SUMMARY:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for independently developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales and revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to prospect identification, client engagement, and strategic decision-making. The role requires managing budgets, analyzing client data, and providing tailored solutions to meet individual client needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes, develops, and maintains relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization's products/services.
Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
Analyzes the market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales objectives independently.
Independently identify and target prospects through market research and analysis.
Determine and execute sales activities with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities within a significant budget.
Analyze data from current and potential clients to evaluate product suitability and market trends.
Develop individualized advice and strategies based on thorough client needs analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and offerings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be a self-starter and proactive.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Knowledge of MS Office and the Windows environment.
Ability to multi-task and operate successfully under deadlines.
Familiar with the hunting and shooting sports industry.
Ability to work independently as well as under immediate supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
5 years inside/outside sales experience (preferred).
