Nampa, Idaho, AmmoSquared Inc is changing the rules of ammunition ownership. We’re taking ammunition into the 21 st century by turning it into a digital asset that can be purchased, managed, and exchanged online with the click of a button. Our customers love being able to put a little bit of their budget away each month and accumulate a supply of ammunition that can be shipped when they are ready for it.
Our mission is to “Simplify Ammunition Ownership” for 180 million+ gun owners in America… and we’re doing it! Started in 2015, we’re now in our 6 th year of operation. We’ve got everything in place, now it is time to scale. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing that will help us do that.
The ideal candidate must have a passion for the shooting sports and extensive experience developing and launching marketing initiatives in the shooting sports (or a similar) industry. Our company is small, so this key hire will need to work independently and “roll up their sleeves” to get the job done. Daily tasks will vary but can include anything under the umbrella of marketing and communications. Some typical tasks could be: proposing a brand awareness strategy, developing influencer partnerships, approving designs, organizing a content calendar, or writing a press release – anything that will help us attract and retain customers.
Organization skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely are a must have. A marketing degree, on the other hand, is not required for this role – we only care about what you’ve accomplished in the real world, not the hollow towers of academia.
We offer all the perks of a big company (medical, dental, 401k, etc.), but also the advantages you can only find in a small growing company: daily access to the founders, the ability to help set the direction of the ship, family atmosphere, and no bureaucracy!
To apply, include your resume along with a well written cover letter. Submissions without a cover letter will not be reviewed. If you have examples of your marketing prowess, be sure to include them as well!
