Visiting agency customers and prospects (primarily firearms, tactical & outdoor specialty retailers, LE departments, etc.) to promote products and programs for the manufacturers we represent. Communicating with customers and prospects between visits to follow up on open items and identify and/or present new opportunities. Communicating regularly with agency managers and organization buyers to review opportunities, priorities, plans and goals. Attending annual vendor sales meetings and industry trade shows. Supporting dealer and consumer events (such as in-store promotions, shooting events, outdoor expos, etc).
Required Skills & Experiences:
Must have outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
Must currently live in a convenient location within the sales region described above
Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter!
Outdoor/firearms enthusiast
Well-organized
Outside sales and/or retail sales experience
Advanced computer, internet and electronic communication skills are important.
