We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. Electrical Engineer Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing industrial automation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards while following industry best practices.
Proactively identify and resolve reoccurring control system issues by implementing permanent PLC, HMI, and hardware-based solutions to reoccurrence thus maximizing machine uptime and performance.
Develop and support ICS Network infrastructure and operational data collection for real-time production monitoring.
Design and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, specifications, and manuals.
Support maintenance teams with electrical troubleshooting and train personnel on new controls.
Manage capital projects and coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment meets design specifications.
Coordinate internal and external personnel on the installation and commissioning activities for new and upgraded equipment.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Electrical Engineer Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree* in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum of 2 year's experience designing electrical control systems and programming PLCs in industrial automation.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workload, shift demands, work independently, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.
Ability and willingness to provide engineering support for manufacturing processes for 24/5 operations, including weekends.
Proficiency with programming and implementation of motor drives, HMIs, Servos, Machine Vision, and industrial networking.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical control systems.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred experience with Allen Bradley and/or Rockwell Automation.
Working knowledge of machine safety such as NEC, NFPA, 70E/79, and ANSI B11 standards.
Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to read, write, and perform calculations.
