The Lean Manufacturing Specialist at Baron Engraving is responsible for the technical management, maintenance and development of new and existing production efforts and the development of new processes. The Manufacturing Specialist will also play a key role in compliance with environmental, safety and health programs. Job Description
The lean manufacturing specialist at Baron will assist the production team in leading process development and improvements.

Duties include the following:

• Development of manufacturing processes and process sheets.
• Assist with planning and scheduling production.
• Troubleshooting and support of manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Help maintain production flow and efficiency.
• Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.
• Maintain positive team relationships with internal and external business contacts, and co-workers.
• Continuously improves production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.
• Coordination of Environmental, Safety and Health compliance.
• Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• BSME or higher
• Complete understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Professional communication skills
• Experience working with MS Office products
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
• CNC Machine programming experience (EDM, milling, grinding) and 3D modeling is a plus.
