								<description>OPEN, Kentucky,  Job Description: 
 
 Establish and maintain effective business contacts with distributors and retailers within assigned territory. 
 Meet / Exceed sales volume goals for assigned region.
 
 Understand the needs of each account to help profitably grow their business. 
 Develop a Regional Operating Plan (ROP) which includes sales and market share growth with assigned accounts. 
 Analyze and report opportunities, threats and challenges in market. 
 
 
 Execute Corporate sales programs and promotions for assigned territory. 
 Monitor, update and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) including profiles on each A-B-C retailer in assigned region. 
 Monitor and assist with developing Mossberg products. 
 Complete Monthly Report, highlighting competitive activity with product and programs.
 
 Gather, compile and report field driven market research as requested. 
 
 
 Travel outside of territory to support new customer development through Distributor Shows, Buy Group Shows, Consumer Trade Shows, or other events as needed. 
 Operate within budget including travel expenses, equipment and business development funds (BDF). 
 Other sales duties as directed. 
 
 &#xa0; Requirements: 
 
 BA degree preferred or work experience equivalent. 
 3-5 years of successful sales account management experience preferred. 
 Strong, firearms knowledge/experience is required. Firearm retail experience preferred. 
 Solid communication, problem solving and negotiating skills. 
 Solid organization, planning and self-starting skills. 
 Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
 Must become proficient in Mossberg product knowledge. 
 Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software platforms as needed. 
 Ability to excel in a team environment required. 
 Weekly travel will be required. 
 Must have a current motor vehicle license.
