The Director of Stoeger Industries is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and long-term value through an integrated go-to-market strategy. This role oversees channel sales execution, product strategy, and marketing and brand positioning to ensure consistent messaging, strong dealer performance, and market-driven product decisions.
As the Director of Stoeger Industries, you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, working closely with executive leadership, while actively supporting their team to execute priorities.
You’ll get to:
People Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately five direct reports across sales, product, and marketing functions.
Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability aligned with company objectives.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and execution.
Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
Channel Sales Leadership
Develop and execute channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Build, manage, and optimize relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key accounts.
Establish sales targets, performance metrics, and incentive structures for channel partners.
Collaborate with internal teams, to include Benelli USA channel team to ensure National Sales teams are equipped with the tools, training, and messaging needed for delivering a best-in-class consumer experience.
Monitor channel performance and adjust strategy based on results and market trends.
Product Strategy & Management
Oversees the product roadmap in partnership with leadership, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
Gather and analyze customer, partner, and market feedback to provide guidance for product enhancements and new offerings.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to manage product lifecycle decisions.
Support product positioning, pricing strategy, and competitive differentiation.
Marketing and Brand Leadership
Lead marketing strategy and execution, including demand generation, content, campaigns, and channel marketing initiatives.
Define, protect, and evolve Stoeger Industries brands identity and value proposition.
Ensure consistent messaging across all touch points including sales materials, dealer communications, digital presence, and consumer interactions.
Oversee brand awareness, reputation, and market perception initiatives.
Lead go-to-market planning for product launches, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, channel marketing and dealers.
Performance Measurements:
Net sales – overall brand and channel group sales will be measured against goal.
Contribution margin performance and pricing effectiveness.
Performance and retention of key channel partners.
New product sales – percentage of sales generated by new products will be measured against goal.
Development and adherence to annual marketing plans.
Effectiveness of channel marketing programs and materials.
Alignment of sales, product, and marketing priorities as evidenced by execution against shared goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees three key functions; channel; sales, sales, product and brand marketing.

You also have:
Strong proven strategic sales and leadership in the sporting goods/outdoor or related consumer products segment.
Leadership of independent rep organizations as well as national accounts and distributors.
Experience developing and executing commercial strategies.
Experience scaling or repositioning a brand.
Background in integrated go-to-market leadership.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with customers and internal teams.
Experience interacting with senior management of large, national retail chains.
A bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
9 + years of relevant experience across sales, product, marketing, and/or brand roles.
