We are seeking a dynamic individual that is self-motivated and innovative to function as the Club Manager. We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering Incredible Customer Service. This person will drive daily operations, event planning and is responsible for cultivating an atmosphere that is welcoming, fun and respectful for everyone. This person must be collaborative; partnering with the Board of Directors and others to help grow Club Membership. The Club Manager should be able to work independently building professional relationships with vendors and suppliers. The Club Manager’s responsibilities include working with a broad member base; managing staff and operations both inside the clubhouse and on our ranges and courses with an unwavering commitment to safety. As a successful Club manager this person must be proactive and able to plan, forecast future needs and deliver requirements on time.

Club Manager Responsibilities:

• As the face of the club for both members and guests; the Manager will provide optimal level of customer services at all times
• Oversee the Club’s financial reporting and controls in conjunction with the Club’s External Accountant, providing monthly reporting to the Board of Directors
• Implement decisions from the Board in a timely, professional manner
• Act as a liaison between the Board, Club Committees, members and volunteers
• Maintain inventory of all club equipment and supplies
• Manage regular maintenance on all equipment
• Prepare required operating plans and implement strategies to achieve club objectives
• Overall hiring, direction and management of staff
• Develop and maintain an effective team culture at all times
• Prepare scheduling for shift coverage and evaluate daily activities to improve efficiencies

Club Manager Requirements:

• A 4 degree in Business Management or related experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Management or a Leadership position preferred
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
• Ability to mentor staff members and lead by example
• Computer literate in Word, Power Point and Excel, knowledge or Point of Sale systems
• Complete understanding of Profit & Loss statements, Budgeting and Cash Flow reporting
• Willingness to perform manual labor at times; requires work both indoors and outdoors including in inclement weather
• Ability to operate equipment such as a snow plow, tractor and other related maintenance equipment is considered a plus
• Weekend coverage is required; Manager will have scheduling influence
