SDS Imports is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to represent our organization in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with experience in customer service, sales, market knowledge, and comfortable with a range of customer groups. This role relies heavily on relationship building, accountability, expectation management, multi-tasking, and prioritization. The ability to travel within assigned territory to on-site meetings and outside of territory for trade show support is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Order processing, completion of sales reports, sales data analysis, daily written and verbal communication with customers and warehouse personnel, communicating regularly with management on account sales performance, order status and planning.
- Visiting existing customers and FTF development of new customers to promote products and programs for our product lines.
- Follow-on communication with customers and prospects between visits to follow up on open items and identify and/or present new opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with SDS managers to review opportunities, priorities, plans and goals. Attending annual sales meetings and industry trade shows.
- Support dealer and consumer events (such as in-store promotions, shooting events, outdoor expos, etc).
