Recruit, onboard, and develop top-performing retail team members
Demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills and the ability to de-escalate customer issues while preserving brand reputation
Maintain working knowledge of ATF compliance, firearm transaction protocols, and responsible sales practices
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
5+ years of retail management experience in the firearms and sporting goods sector
Demonstrated success in leading teams, growing sales, and improving profit margins
An energetic, aggressive, and proactive leadership style with strong communication and coaching skills
In-depth knowledge of current industry trends, customer buying behavior, and top-performing products
A solid understanding of the retail supply chain, with experience in purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management
Experience developing brand identity and setting high standards for customer-facing service and professionalism
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth
Skilled in merchandising, event planning, and visual retail presentation
Strong analytical mindset, with comfort interpreting sales reports, setting KPIs, and executing data-driven decisions
Highly organized and proficient with typical computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email platforms) and point-of-sale (POS) systems
A college degree is preferred, but not required with equivalent experience and proven results
