Position Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the execution of Holosun’s commercial sales strategy across key channels and partners. This role works closely with sales leadership to improve team performance, strengthen channel partnerships, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure compliant, efficient sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Support the development of mid- and long-term channel sales strategies aligned with company business objectives.
- Assist in setting annual and quarterly sales targets and cascading goals to core channels and third-party sales teams.
- Support sales forecasting, sales mix analysis, and resource allocation planning, including pricing structures and promotional strategies.
- Assist in planning long-term sales initiatives, including input related to product strategy and R&D alignment.
Sales Team Performance & Enablement
- Support daily sales team management and lead Rep and regional performance evaluations.
- Analyze performance results and provide recommendations for team development, training needs, and capability enhancement.
- Help implement incentive programs and SPIF initiatives to address key sales challenges and improve productivity.
- Produce performance analysis and insights to support continuous team improvement.
Channel & Key Account Management
- Support relationship management with core channel partners and key accounts.
- Lead or support major commercial negotiations and the design of cooperation and growth plans for strategic customers.
- Monitor channel health, inventory levels, and sales performance to identify growth and expansion opportunities.
- Consolidate insights from customer visits, trade shows, and business reviews to reduce customer churn and improve retention.
Market & Competitive Insights
- Conduct regular market research on industry trends, customer demand, and competitor pricing and promotional activity.
- Prepare market insight reports to support product iteration, sales strategy adjustments, and new product launch planning.
- Participate in or lead key industry exhibitions, summits, and events.
- Track and support the execution and effectiveness of new product launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Operations
- Coordinate with internal teams including finance, legal, customer service, warehousing, and IT to ensure efficient sales operations.
- Help resolve operational issues related to inventory alignment, collections, system integration, and channel processes.
- Support the execution of promotions, SPIF programs, and other sales initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous optimization of sales support systems and workflows.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Support compliance across all sales channels and review major partnership and customer contracts.
- Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues and mitigate legal risk.
- Monitor channel collections and support accurate sales reporting to ensure financial integrity and data accuracy.
Data Analysis & Performance Review
- Help establish and maintain core sales data monitoring and reporting systems.
- Lead analysis of sales structure, including new products and customer segmentation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting for key products.
- Organize and participate in regular sales reviews, analyzing variances versus plan and developing corrective action plans.
- Prepare analytical reports on channel performance, team efficiency, and customer value to support management decision-making.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
