Shadow Systems, a leading firearms manufacturer headquartered in Texas, is actively searching for a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Southeast Region. Recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the firearms industry, Shadow Systems carries a portfolio of innovative striker-fired handguns and a strong new product line. Our products are widely distributed among top national distributors, big box retailers, and independent stores, with a rapidly expanding presence in both international markets and law enforcement agencies.
Salary position with commission plan.
OVERVIEW:
Strategic Leadership:?Develop and execute sales strategies for the law enforcement sector to drive growth and expand market presence.
Team Oversight:?Lead and mentor the law enforcement sales team, set performance goals, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Client Relationships:?Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies and key decision-makers.
Contract & Proposal Management:?Oversee bids, RFPs, pricing models, and proposals tailored to law enforcement needs and regulations.
Collaboration:?Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure offerings meet agency requirements.
Market Insight:?Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Reporting & Forecasting:?Manage pipeline visibility, sales forecasting, and performance reporting to leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage relationships with law enforcement agencies, procurement officers, SWAT teams, training coordinators, and department leadership.
Conduct product demonstrations, range days, and live-fire evaluations for agency decision-makers and end users.
Deliver certified or company-approved firearms and tactical training programs to law enforcement personnel.
Coordinate and manage trade shows, industry conferences, law enforcement expos, and department events.
Oversee T&E (Test and Evaluation) programs by distributing demo equipment, collecting user feedback, and documenting performance results.
Provide technical expertise on firearms platforms, weapon systems, maintenance, and operational applications.
Prepare agency procurement documentation in compliance with government purchasing requirements.
Maintain detailed sales forecasts, CRM records, territory activity reports, and training documentation.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to communicate customer feedback and field performance insights.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms regulations, agency policies, and company safety standards.
Support contract negotiations and long-term agency purchasing agreements.
Train dealer partners, distributors, and internal staff on product features, operational use, and competitive positioning.
Travel extensively to agencies, training facilities, and industry events to support sales and customer engagement initiatives.
Build long-term customer loyalty through post-sale support, troubleshooting assistance, and ongoing training relationships.
Handle all IOP sales and keeping guns moving out the door while traveling.
SHOWS & TRAVEL
Assist with shows and set travel arrangements when needed.
Make sure to obtain samples for events and plan packing lists for event displays needed.
Be prepared for any necessary travel for the business.
Travel to Distributor Shows, Buy Group Shows, Trade Shows, Sales Meeting, and other law enforcement events as needed.
Maintain a regular expense report for travel and provide to upper management.
“Stay In the know" about opportunities and the company calendar events. Make sure these are planned out and prepared for in a timely manner.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
Gain a deep understanding of the full Shadow Systems product line.
Monitor industry trends and assist with new product ideas, be a voice for new ideas based on field research
Use feedback from sales team, customers, etc. to help with improving the brand and existing product line

Former LE experience is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
3–5 years of hands-on sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; firearms or defense industry experience is a plus.
Experience working with LE Agencies, dealer networks, distributors, or retail partners
Familiarity with firearms industry standards and compliance (ATF, state laws)
Experience with shooting sports, tactical gear, or similar technical products
Ability to analyze sales data (Excel, Office 365, NetSuite)
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test
